WORKSHOP

LIPA held an interculturality workshop as part of Skopje Design Week 2018, which happend to be a very inspiring, educational and productive week we spent together with a group of MA students in the field of product design at the University of Arts Berlin (UDK Berlin), during which we did an exploration of the future of the crafts (ceramics - LIPA ceramics and weaving - tutored by Pero the weaving master) and the methods used in the production. Everything was a (potential) tool, which imposed a new kind of freedom on the creation. Instead of feeling limited, this way of working inspired us to find new tracks in the forest of design and bring them into structured and functional ideas.
