Ceramics Words Nature
Born in Skopje in 1983, in what was then Yugoslavia, in the Socialist Republic of Macedonia, which later became the Republic of Macedonia and now the Republic of North Macedonia: in other words, in the never boring Balkans.
She studied architecture in her own city and ceramics in Thessaloniki, Greece. Her areas of interest include ceramics, words and nature. Her visual and written utterances often intertwine or complement each other. Her ceramics ranges from experimental to functional, while her verses veer between prose and poetry. They tend to be or be not.
Her functional ceramics are labelled as LIPA. She has published three books, short stories and two experimental plays. One of the books is a collaborative work published in Slovenia. Her prose and poetry have been published in local anthologies, magazines and online literary websites. Part of her writings have been published in Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia and Slovenia.
Lately, she is working mainly in the field of ceramics, but also searching for new ways to use words, language as well as sound and voice; in that direction, she has also collaborated with artists from Greece.
